About Altnyx

Built by operators, for operators.

We set out to build the ERP that food and beverage manufacturers actually need — purpose-built for the complexity of perishable production, food safety, and the way real plants operate.

Why we built Altnyx

Most ERP was built for someone else's problems. We fixed that.

Food and beverage manufacturers have been managing their operations with software designed for discrete manufacturing — built to track bolts and components, not batches of ingredients with shelf lives, allergen constraints, and food safety records that regulators can demand at any moment.

The result has been decades of workarounds. Spreadsheets running alongside ERP systems. Quality management in disconnected tools. Production planners who rebuild schedules manually every morning because the system cannot model allergen sequencing or FEFO logic without expensive customisation.

We built Altnyx because food manufacturers deserve software that understands their world — where the sequence in which you run products on a line is a food safety decision, not just an efficiency one. Where ingredient lot traceability is a regulatory requirement, not an optional feature. Where a quality hold issued at 6am needs to be visible to the production planner, the warehouse team, and the despatch team simultaneously — not communicated by email.

Altnyx is the Enterprise Command System built specifically for food and beverage manufacturing. Every module, every workflow, every data model was designed with the food plant in mind from the start — not adapted from a framework built for someone else.

What we believe

Four principles that shape everything we build

Precision over complexity

Software that does exactly what it needs to do, without excess. We believe in focused capability executed with exceptional precision — not feature sprawl that generates consulting revenue at the expense of usability. Every screen, every workflow, every alert is designed to make the right action the easiest action.

Built for food

We serve one industry. Not food and manufacturing and distribution and retail — food and beverage manufacturing exclusively. This focus means we understand the regulatory environment, the operational constraints, and the commercial pressures of our customers at a depth that no horizontal vendor can match. Being vertical by choice is a deliberate advantage.

AI-native from day one

We did not add AI to an existing product as a marketing response. Altnyx was architected from the beginning to support autonomous agents that monitor, decide, and act within defined parameters — amplifying the capability of operations teams rather than creating new dashboards for them to watch. Intelligence is woven into the platform, not bolted on top.

Implementation that actually works

The food ERP market has a well-documented implementation failure problem. We address it by measuring ourselves on time-to-value, not time-to-contract. Our target implementation window is just 2 weeks because we carry pre-built food industry configurations, a structured data migration methodology, and implementation teams who know food manufacturing from the inside. We consider an implementation complete only when the team is running independently.

How we work

The numbers that define our approach

We measure our work the way our customers measure theirs — against outcomes that matter to the business.

Our team

People who have worked in food manufacturing, building software for food manufacturing.

Our team brings together backgrounds in food operations, supply chain management, enterprise software, and AI engineering. We are deliberately small and deliberately focused — a team that is close enough to the problems we solve to feel them, not just analyse them.

We are growing. If you want to meet the people behind Altnyx, the best place to start is LinkedIn. And if you are interested in joining us, we would like to hear from you.
